FAQs

Can I live at Creator’s Collaborative?

My wife asked if our family could move in here. I said no. I asked my wife if I could live here. She said no. Hope you’re seeing the trend 🙂 It would be sweet to live here though, wouldn’t it?

You can’t sleep here, unfortunately. As of now, everyone (staff included) has to be out by the last hour of access of your space! Please don’t accidentally trip an alarm by pulling a late night work sesh.

What am I committing to?

Why do you ask, are you afraid of commitment? We aren’t! Fortunately, we don’t have long-term leases, we just hope you’ll love it and stay for a long time to get to know everyone. You’ll be happy to know that all of our memberships are month-to-month. With each payment, you are only agreeing to commit for another month!

How secure will my things be?

Indoor and outdoor cameras? Check. Alarm system? Check. Lockable storage? Check-ish (for dedicated desks and dedicated offices — we plan to add day lockers in the future, too). Your food in the fridge? Can’t make any promises there… :/ We’ve taken precautions to make sure your belongings are safe and count on people to respect your belongings (plus food and beverages), though it’s important to note that you are responsible for your things, so use common sense and lock things up.

Is there free parking?

Do you have to pay for air? Well, actually, in some places you do! Not at the Creator’s Collaborative. Air and parking are free. Well, technically, we pay for parking with our taxes because it’s on-street parking. The good news is that this isn’t downtown, so there is plenty of parking, and don’t be surprised if you get to park in front of the office building more often than not.

Can I bring guests?

Any friend of yours is a friend of ours! Your guests are free to join you for meetings in our meeting rooms. If a friend or colleague wants to come work for a full day, all they’ll need is a day pass! We also have regular bring-a-friend-to-work days for members, so be sure to ask a staffer about it when you join!

Can I bring my doggo?

We don’t like cats, so they’re definitely out of the question. We like dogs (medium- to large-sized dogs if we’re gonna get specific), but we don’t have a clear policy for pets, so for the time being, please keep Fido at home, especially if that’s the cat’s name.

Will I bother people if I talk on my phone?

If you talk really loud on the phone, then maybe yes. Otherwise, definitely not! When you think of a coworking space, think of a coffee shop vs a library. Everyone here spends most of their day on the phone or video calls, so anyone who’s bothered by this should play music on their earbuds or probably isn’t a good fit to be a member. We also have chat rooms and meeting rooms that are perfect for hopping on important calls. Just be sure to use your inside voice rather than a rabid sports fan voice.
